I am trying to run two wires from the driver side (US) to the engine bay. Does anyone know of an easy pass through on a 2000 XK8?

When I installed the Realgauge I removed the cover from the left rear of the engine compartment. At the outboard edge there is a rubber flex that covers cables, over 1" wide. I poked a hole in that and ran the wire through.

Thank you both very much.
I have two questions.
1. Is this the point of entry you are talking about(see arrow)?
2. Where does it come out?

Yes, if you poke a thin rod thru it will emerge under the dash by the hood release, remove the under tray on the dash for better access.
