Default First experience with new autoenginuity

I recently bought the base module and Jaguar enhanced interface, not because I had any problems (I don't seem to ... no CEL) but just to be able to better trouble-shoot any that do come up.
I loaded the software and plugged the unit in. It seems to be working ... identified the following codes; P1582, U1261, P1605, B2295, B2290 and B2291. None of the systems involved seem to be misbehaving, so the codes might be left over from the distant past. I just bought the car about two weeks ago. I'll clear the codes tomorrow and see if they return.
As I said, the car seems to be running fine. I had the battery disconnected for a few days while I did a headrest cable rework ... not sure if that is significant or not.

A MY might be nice so we know what car you have.
I don't think the P1582 will clear from the ECM with normal methods.

On X200 and X400 you need to go into the toolbox (WDS or IDS) and then to special applications to read and clear the EDR (Engine Data Recorder). I forget if this is the case on the 2003 MY> X100. (The 4.0 engine does not have this feature)

I still have not used the SDD that much to know how the fault is read/cleared and I have no idea if AutoEnginuity has this capability.

P1582 “Flight recorder” data is
stored if any one of five
conditions occur:

1 Inertia switch activated

2 Throttle Limp Home mode

3 Engine starts and stumbles

4 Engine fail to start

5 Engine stall

The EDR is handy to see what the engine was doing (37 frames) when the P1582 was stored. You might try to read the 'FLIGHT RECORDER' to see if the AutoEnginuity can do this since you are learning what it can do and how to use it.
