First PM on new XKR

First PM on new XKR
I bought a 2002 XKR at the end of August with 34k miles. I got maintenance records from the Jag Dealer but all he had were records for oil changes and the 10k mile maintenance. So I needed to see about the timing chain tensioners. I checked today and they were the new, all metal style. I also fixed the driver's head rest problem. The tensioners were my biggest worry because of the possibility for a catastrophic failure. Now that I have that out of the way, what other preventative maintenance (PM) should I be looking into? I plan on doing a sat/nav replacement over the winter but also want to get any PMs done.

Sounds like you found a great one!
I would review the 10k service records to ensure that coolant and brake fluids have been changed. Coolant at 5 year intervals, brake fluid at 2 year. Some have changed the PS fluid but that seem unneeded to me. Battery age? Some have gotten 6 or more years out of a battery but strange things happen as they get old.
That's about it as far as PM. On a 10 year old car with that few miles age and lack of routine use is the controlling issue.
Just enjoy the car!
