First Time XK8 owner - New Member
Hi All,
I’ve just joined the club (both ownership and the forum). I now own my first XK8 after years of thinking about it so looking very much looking forward to some summer miles.
Not a perfect car by any means but low ownership, and lots of history. I’m having some work done over the coming weeks so no doubt I’ll be picking your brains when I get stuck (handbrake light won’t go off 👀.
look forward to it and I’m sure the car won’t disappoint,
all the best.

Welcome from a fellow ‘97 XK8 coupe owner in the NW of England. Buying mine just o er a year ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, so hope that you get as much satisfaction from your car as I have from mine. Will you be attending any of the XK8 25th anniversary events this summer?

There’s several events planned. The JEC summer event is at Bicester on 4th July and will feature XKs as well as various other Jags with significant anniversaries this year - E-type, Mark X and X-type. There’s also the Jaguar Breakfast Club event on 4th September at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon https://www.jaguarbreakfastclub.org.uk/
