Default Flowflex or David Manners poly bushes?

Hi All. I'm doing a front suspension rebuild on my 1997 4.0 and wondered if anyone has experience of using either David Manners or Flowflex poly bushes on the upper wishbones please? Good or bad experiences - it's all learning!

Or those sold by British Parts - anything other than Powerflex basically. I've used Powerflex purple bushes a couple of times in the past and know they're good, but there are alternatives out there at a third of the price.

Years ago I installed "PolyGraphite" bushings on my '79 Corvette. They had graphite impregnated in the polyurethane to prevent squeaking. They worked Great, but I haven't seen them in a few years. WHen it is time, I will try to find them for my XK, if available. They were not that expensive as I remember($169/set??).

Thanks Sam. I've done a quick search and they're still around. The sets look very comprehensive and, as you say, pretty affordable, but it seems they don't do Jaguar.

Maybe you can match up the bushes by size with what’s on their catalogue. I would have loved polygraphite when I did mine so that I wouldn’t have to go back in and re-lube in 5 years.

Hey don't forget you can drill out the center hole of poly bushes if you find a good deal / matching size but center hole too small. Several of us have done so with energy brand poly bushes for sway bar links - they work just fine.

Thanks giandanielxk8 & John,
I'd have to import Polygraphite or Energy brand because they're not sold here in the UK and, after doing some Googling, I've decided to stay clear of Flowflex. With all the work involved, I'll probably go with the known option & fit Powerflex after all.
