I have just done the following:
1999 xk8 convertible
You know the purple one with factory chrome rims
Swapped out rear large panel speakers 5 hours
Changed oil and filter 1 hour
Drain coolant and install new 2.5 hours
Install air cleaner element 1/2 hour
New Bosch barttery pep boys
I'm no expert ad this is my first British car
I'm sorting it into a daily driver from a car sitting for two years dead
There was more but I am simply offering my most recent experience on these jobs...

I just changed my oil for the first time last weekend and I was shocked how easy it was.
Even with my Lowered car, 6" high ramps and the filter and drain plug a reachable from the front. The filter comes out without dumping oil all over the suspension/steering or filling a plastic undertray full of oil. Probably the easiest/quickest oil change out of the my 9 cars.
