Front brake judder

First you need to be certain exactly which brakes are fitted to the vehicle. Unlikely to be the original discs after 17 years and cross drilled discs with silver calipers does NOT in itself guarantee the system is the 'R' Performance option. The standard front disc is 305mm diameter and the 'R' Performance is 355mm.
Brake judder can be caused by uneven 'bite' of the pad on the disc but can just as easily be caused by sticking caliper pistons. Some close inspection before breaking out the credit card is advisable.
OE discs are outrageously over priced but at the other extreme there are some very dubious Far Eastern manufacturered aftermarket ones on the likes of ebay. I use one of the aftermarket Jaguar parts specialists such as Berkshire Jag Components or S N G Barratt. These specialists have a hard won reputation to defend and anything aftermarket from them has to satisfy both quality and price.
