Front Shock Bushings

I wonder who the manufacturer of the poor bushings was. Mine aren't in front of me so I have no idea. Always chase the threads on a painted, powdercoated or filthy bolt/stud. NOT doing so is just asking for a problem.
If all else fails, this is a complete assembly and I'm sure I can swap out the bad top portion with the original or replace the bolts with something of higher quality. Thanks for the warning, hadn't seen those threads before.

check out the post of the guy who used plastic cutting boards to rebuild his upper mounts, I myself just purchase a 12x12x.75 inch piece of King-Starboard. Its a marine grade polymer board used for making synthetic marine docks and such. it will resist heat oil fuel. only cost less than 40.00 for the 12x12 sheet and is enough to do both sides and will most likely last longer than the car
