Default Front strut shims

Replaced front shock bushings today. All went well until I was all done, everything back together and then I find a shim on the floor. I have no idea which side it came from so I have no idea where to put it. It's very thin, about as thin as a piece of paper. Should I be concerned or just forget about it? I took a test ride and all seems fine.

Can you post dimensions of shim?

The shims go in specific locations. See the illustration below.

Bad caster can make your car pull to one side. Check distance between rear point of front tire and fender.

Thanks for the replies. The illustration from rothwell really helped me find the right place for the stray shim. I thought each car was shimed differently

Note that the Fig 7. right and left side shim thicknesses criss cross and are not a mirror image.

If you had read my XK8 Bible on this forum you would have had a much more pleasant time doing this job.
