Front suspension Overhaul Part 1
I had the boots on one of my upper and lower ball joints rip so I decided to change take it all four ball joints, control arm bushings lower shock bushings sway bar bushings and tie rod ends. Im no pro but after all the insight figured Ive give it a go.
1. First take off the front wheels (duhhh)
2. Remove caliper and rotor
3. remove the ball joint nuts and tie rod nut
4. Remove Upper A arm ( REV's Video)
5. remove tie rod and ball joints fron hub and remove (The for fork worked on one side but had to buy the ball joint seperater that screws from harbor freight for the other LIFE SAVER)
6. Unbolt the anti sway bar link and the two torques head bolts on the lower control arm they are a T60 (they are torqued so tight need alot of muscle or crazy impact)
7. Remove strut assembely( watch REV's Video)
8. loosen the lower control arm bolt.
9. Now you must remove the four steering rack bolts uppers are tucked away but this needs to be done 13mm(BIG thanks to !!NICKASILNIK!! for this tip was the deciding factor in me doing the job)
10. Now you can wiggle the rack enough to pull the control arm bolt out.
Im sure there may be better ways of doing these things but this worked for me. Now going to take the parts to Napa to have them press in all the new goodies and reinstall. Special thanks to REV and his videos and all the other forum members and their post this saved me $1000's of dollars

So everything went well besides a stuck tie rod end on the driver side the boot wasnt ripped so I decided I would just take that to shop or just decide to replace the entire inner tie rod. Anyone know how to tell if you need to replace inner tie rods any symptoms? Noises?? Another question if you have the wishbone bushings from british parts the "Poly ones" since the outsides are not concave like the OEM wishbone bushings do you think I should use flat washers on the outsides insted of the factory ones that are concave to fit into the OEM bushings?????
Ohhh the ride is remarkable better I can cruise at 100mph with one hand on the wheel and it still feels very composed.
