Fuel cut-off switch w/ fuel pump replacement?

Default Fuel cut-off switch w/ fuel pump replacement?
Does anyone know if the fuel cut-off switch needs to be reset after replacing the fuel pump? Book says the button is in the event of a wreck.

No, it doesn't need to be reset. But there is no harm in doing so.
