Hey guys. Im a happy new owner of a 2001 XKR Jaguar. Well almost happy LOL. After about two weeks of ownership i come to find out that one of my pumps is out. The dealer canot tell me which one and says i will need to replace both. Im very mechanicnly inclined and can do the work my self but need help figuring out what brand fuel pumps i should get. I see them on line ranging from $100-$150 a piece and the dealer wants about $275 a pump. Is it safe to go after market or is this part better be OEM quality???

I would do a search for AIRTEX pumps and get them from a local supplier or the internet (rock auto????)

I just replaced the pumps in a 1998 XJR and got them for under a hundred each.

Nice! Did the filters come with the pumps as well? Did you need to purchase anything else for the job or did everything come with the pumps?
