Fuse Help
I’m looking for the fuse layout order & amperage for a 2003 XK8. I have a pre 2002 owners manual & the trunk fusebox cover from a 2004 neither of which seem to be matching what I see on mine. I believe there are fuses missing & some in the wrong slots. Additionally, what orientation is F1 as an example Driver’s side facia fusebox: as you face it from the outside at eye level would F1 be the top left fuse,F2 the one below & so on? Or does the F1 position start at bottom right with F2 being above? Or something entirely different?
Everything lights up but no crank & every time the doors are opened the window moves down a little & stays there, pull the handle again & it drops from the previous position to the point it’s down all the way & only goes up if the inside switch is used. I'll here a chirp with the remotes but no actual effect to locking or unlocking the passenger doors, I do know the trunk not popping is mechanical because that I can see.

Here's a photo on my rear fuse box, 03 XK8 Vert, hope this helps. As for fuse numbers they are numbered beside each fuse. In the photo the 5amp fuse on the lower right is fuse #1, by the red positive connection. The top right 10 amp fuse is #10. In reference to top and bottom right be sure to orient the photo correctly. Red battery connection should be at bottom right as in car.

Fuses
Jandreu,
A huge Thank You!
Can I impose on you for pics of the other 4 fuse boxes?
I purchased the vehicle over the internet not running (flood damaged) it has less than 21,000 miles on it. Water damage was basically confined to the trunk & the seller felt that if I replaced the Security & Locking Module I’d probably be good to go. So when I received it from the shipper the trunk was totally dismantled (took me awhile to figure out why there was 2 fuseboxes) Thanks to you & because he left the old/original water damaged box I’ve confirmed that he replaced it with a 2004. The fuses & relays don’t match up to what’s installed, but does match the old water damaged one. The 2004 also has a relay where there is none for the 03. I’d appreciate the other photo’s to verify wether he changed fuses & relays in the other boxes.
Do you think I’m safe to set up the 04 to match the 03? & should I disconnect the battery before moving stuff around? It seems common sense to do so, however if I did it “live” I’d possibly only blow individual fuses vs. possibly cooking the whole box on a reconnect. Your thoughts?
I also welcome & would appreciate any other forum members who might be reading the thread. Thank you again.

O3XK8, no problem, I'll open up everything in the morning and take some photo's for ya. As for the wiring difference between an 03 and 04 I have no idea. I would suggest finding a fuse box layout for both years and compare them before moving fuses around.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with advice.

Your trunk is waayy prettier than mine & your pic shows me where the heck the fuse box is supposed to go!
The black relays thru me off for a bit but I now know they're for the convertible top!
Can't Thank you enough, all those empty slots in my fuse boxes had me freaked out.
If I still cant get a crank out of it & can figure out how to post some pics I've got some more trunk wire's that look like they need to be mated to something, but one problem at a time

"TRANSIT ISOLATION RELAY CR95 2-WAY / WHITE TRUNK / ADJACENT TO BATTERY" Wires are black & green / orange?
Used in shipping to allow the car to start and run, but not discharge the battery while sitting during transit. I think it had a relay of some kind connected that was pulled off at the dealer.
