Default gearbox fault / throttle buzz

hi all , I have jaguar xk8 2005 clean car it's about 84,000 km, I bought the car tow weeks ago , every things work fine , today at 3 pm when I try to turn on its not starting at lest after 3 time then start fine, same day at 10 pm try again same thing happened after 5 time start ok , like weak battery , when driving the car between 20 to 30 mins on the way radio turn off then turn on it self & when I turn on the high lights the radio turn off then on / washer work it self the appear warring massage " gearbox fault " when I try to park a car the transmission look like hard & not smooth ., I turn the car off .. after 5 mins start the car & massages disappeared , car work fine . is that battery need to change? I thing the last owner changed the battery before 2 months ago , is that fues need to change ? any help for that ? by the way I have something to tell you ,, there is some sound on throttle like buzz ,, is that normal ?

It does appear the battery is weak, but guessing gets expensive. You need to have the car checked by a service shop. Other possibilities are the alternator may be at fault, or there is a poor connection.

The transmission may need a fluid change, but until you get the electrical system checked you can't be sure. The throttle body motor can be heard.

yes make sure the battery is fully charged cant hurt to put it on a charger overnight,these cars do not like undercharged batterys, also if you can get a scanner and check for any codes that have been thrown by the onboard diagnostics that may be helpful, post anymore info you get I'm sure you'll get more help

i check the battery & alternator its all good ,, i think something in electrical system also the lights still just a little bit bulging like weak connectivity , i will check the electrical system soon , i just suspect maybe its happened when i wash the car maybe water touches the connections or some damaged cables
sorry for no more details coz i new owner for the car "2nd hand"
i like xk8 & i will collect more information of it

The forums are full of wet jag problems, especially when the engine is pressure washed. I only hand wash my cars and do not spray under the hood.

i will try to wash by hand & care to water not get any electrical parts .. thanks ^_^
