Just tell'em it's a "Victory" they won't know the difference anyway....That car is so ugly, we wouldn't let it inside Texas! We'd stop it at the Boulder.....

Took a gamble and bought it "unseen". Paid $700 to have it shipped. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Well, the dealership is in a very expensive part of town, and the fact that it has TONS of service at Hornburg & Just Jags is great. AND that is is a Southern Ca. car. (no rust) I think it will be a keeper.

I adore the color!!!

I am already a bit jealous! Please post pics here when she arrives.
Cheers!

TX-Brit,

Congratulations on buying a Jaguar! I would really like to see it after you get it to Huffman...I'm not really as bad as I sound but Pretty Bluefin sometimes gets a little shall we say "overly excited" about Jaguars and there is no telling what she might do....She already has the most Beautiful Jaguar in the world and doesn't know it! Just because it was a "Victory Edition" she actually might have traded "The Silver Streak" for it!

After you get it to Huffman, let me know...

Thanks Billy,
It may be arriving today and I'm pretty excited. I'm also prepared to find some issues that I am currently unaware of as I bought it unseen. I'll keep you posted.

Best regards,

Stefan

Oh, there will be unexpected issues :-)

Part of the fun of the car. 99% of all issues have been seen before and are discussed on this list.

Enjoy!

Default She's here!

So the cat arrived today! It was filthy after traveling some 1600 miles on an eighteen wheel car hauler. Got her rinsed off now. Swing by Saturday morning if you have time.

cheers,

Cool "Victory Edition" is in Houston

TX-Brit,

It is a true V-E....It has "Smoked-Tail Lights", which only came on V-E's and the Wheels are 20" RX2's, a V-E option....Someone painted them Black but they probably came new in Silver....I can't imagine how pretty it would be with Silver Wheels!

Stefan, you have done well! Congratulations and take care of Her!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing Her!

The camber on these cars is quite pronounced. There is NO camber adjustment. One of the members commented on the need for a wheel alignment which is the reason for this post.

Car looks fantastic. You are lucky to have found it. Good luck and keep us posted.

Congratulations.
I drove this car after PrettyBlueFin let them know what they had.

It is a great car and, even though I did not care for that particular color of blue, I was thinking of getting it anyway when you beat me to the punch.

Have a great time.
