Yes yes yes, I'll get photos soon but Kate is absolutely filthy after recent rains and more to come tomorrow! But wow, the stance looks good.
Anyhow, on one of the pairs - not both for some reason - there is a yellow sticker along the diameter that reads, "CAUTION: NOT USEABLE WITH STEEL RIMS- LIFE THREATENING!" Gahhh! I have the double-five 18" wheels... they're steel aren't they? Why couldn't these be used with steel wheels? Hoping this is just some overly TUV-paranoid out-of-parameter unobtanium use only spec sticker or something. Am I OK to run these?
EDIT 5 HOURS LATER: I think my sinus medicine affected my metals identification abilities.

The only steel wheel that was ever on an XKR is a space saver spare, so I guess that just means you are never allowed to get a flat tire.
More seriously though, that statement doesn't make a lot of sense. The hub the spacer is mounted to is steel, so it can't be a materials difference they are concerned about. Maybe a mild steel wheel could bend because of the increased offset?
Anyway, you should be fine with the spacers, just watch the alignment and tire wear.

Alloy wheels. Of course. Folks, I actually took the afternoon off sick today and apparently my head wasn't in the right place... perhaps I should have rested. But how could I with new toys on the workbench?
I did wonder about the steel hubs as well. Perhaps they're just slab-sided enough that it's not an issue (no materials problem), but it's the steel wheels (the spare) that have a lip on them that could cut into the spacer once torqued down and cause a myriad of issues. That's probably it.
*shakes head* carry on...

Wow, the stance is much improved and the good thing is that it doesn't look as if you've put spacers on, if you get my drift. It looks the way the car should have looked when it came out of the factory.
I'd like to try some 15mm spacers on the front of my car, but I'm a bit concerned about messing up the steering. Have you felt any change in yours? Tramlining, etc?

Indeed! Exactly what I thought- why didn't it come this way from the factory? And I had the same thoughts when I put the exact units (well, DRA) on my Audi S8 last year. It's just better.
Zero issues. No tramlining, vibrations, or strange trouble. However, I haven't had a chance to get the car above 55mph yet, will do so in a few days. I also haven't really tested the travel, but no rubbage in normal daily use so far (about 50 mi). But behind the wheel, you can tell it tracks wider and feels chunkier and more brawny in a broad shoulders sort of way. Technically a lower center of gravity as well you can feel. This was a very easy and enjoyable upgrade, one of the first I'd recommend for anyone.
