HalfShaft to diff O-rings

HalfShaft to diff O-rings
I've removed rear end to do a number of things, while inspection I see seepage from 2 places, the plug (it appears) and around the right Diff output shaft (see pic) so I've looked at jtis and using sng catalog identified 2 seals,
The sealing ring JM20451 Bearing housing o-ring JM20327. The sealing ring appears to fit inside the retaining ring and would seat before re-insertion of the output shaft. The o-ring fits just inboard of the circlip. It would appear I only need to disconnect the half shaft (marking it) and removing the circlip to replace both of these. Obviously it's much easier with the whole thing sitting on the floor than in the car so I'd do both sides while I'm there.
Questions: Has anyone done this that can chime in? Is there any worries about tension, it would appear the shaft slides in and is retained by the circlip being seated.
I've cleaned the breather and will be replacing fluid and plug (coming with seals). I did do a search but there wasn't much in line with what I'm attempting

The sealing ring actually fits onto the bearing, and if you replace the bearing it comes pre fitted.
A good pair of circlip pliers is all you need. Once the circlip is removed the shaft comes removes/refits exactly the same as a half shaft in a solid axle.
Just be sure that the circlip expands far enough when installed, over 10mm if I recall. Check the JTIS for the measurement.
