Not sure how but I used them last night for the first time. They definitly work. Sprayed all over the hood just after I washed it.

They spray automatically when you pull on the wipe stalk for several seconds.

I thought they only worked every 10th time (or maybe 5th time) you used the washer. They look cool but how many times are these cars really going to be covered in mud or snow? Mine never gets dirty and the few times my headlight washers went off, I had to wipe down the entire hood (bonnet)!

I plug the lines on mine I have never used them and the car never gets dirty enough to warrant them.

My RH side washer spat out one of the nozzles and now gushes like Old Faithful! The next step for me is to plug the headlight lines. Do you think I'll earn some green points for helping conserve our planet's limited supply of windshield juice?

How does one un-plug the pump or plug the washer hose?

Thanks!

When I repainted the car I disconnected the fluid hose off the washer unit and put a bolt in the end with a hose clamp. and retied it up out of the way with a electrical tie. It was easy because the front bumper was off. You would probably have to remove you inner wheel well liners to gain access to the washers under the headlight assembly. This could be a tight area to work in and be careful not to knock off the washer it locks into the bottom of the headlight assembly and can be a bitch to install back on without taking out the headlight assembly.

In slushy conditions they can be quite nice on a long haul at nihgt. You wouldn't believe how much light you lose due to dried on dirt and salt. When you hit the washers it's like night and day.
