Hello - does anyone supply stickers for xk8/r headlights to convert to LHD driving? I have found plenty of threads about the long term converter plates and some saying stickers weren't really useful as our lamps have no guidelines but I was wondering if anyone had found a good, cheap and temporary solution suitable for a 2week gaunt?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'm another regular Continental tourer. I also didn't bother with headlamp converters a.k.a. beam benders on my XK8's and have never been flashed. Given that most French vehicles have one headlamp pointing at the road and the other pointing up in the air, no one is likely to notice .......
...... except for the Gendarmerie in the Pas de Calais who look on British driver's returning to the Channel Ports as a 'cash vache'.
I put a small piece of black insulating tape on each headlamp. Doesn't matter where - there is no EU Directive on headlamp conversion.
My XK is easier because there's a lever in the headlamp unit to switch dip direction. Brilliant idea? Yes, but you do have to remove the headlamp unit to move the lever!

NO - there isn't on the XK8/XKR. The dip direction change lever was introduced on the later XK model. This thread went off at a tangent.

I got these two photos (from I know not where!) of these Jaguar masks, then scaled off them to cut out two sticky-back plastic copies that I applied to the headlamp glasses, again scaling their position from the photos.
I'll be re-applying them this week as I too am of to France next week.
Edit Just noticed you have an X150, but this is is the X100 Forum/World! Sorry, I can't help you
Honi soit qui mal y pense.
