Question Headlining

Hello, the headlining on my 1999 XKR is coming away from the backing, I need to re-stick it back, can anyone suggest what is the best adhesive to use that will not show through the fabric.
Gerard.

I replaced my old headlining for new on my old XJ6 & I just used the spray adhesive that comes out like silly string. Did a top job & would use that again if I had to.

I'm afraid you will struggle trying to stick the old fabric as the problem lies with the foam backing which will have rotted causing the fabric to sag. You can buy new fabric or a new complete headlining with fibreglass backing. The complete headlining with backing is about £150. I changed mine recently and posted the details with photographs on the forum. I will try and find a link for you.
