Rachel....Have you checked the brake pedal switch? I was looking at the flow chart for troubleshooting the ABS and I haven't seen it mentioned yet in your thread.

I feel pretty certain there is not, nor does it seem we would want to except to quench the warning light(s).

Anyway, what we've got in this situation is plain old driver-controlled braking and throttle. Low-tech, yes, but works just fine if not abused.

my fellow people, we drive JAGUARS!!! these are not toyotas. lets be real, why would a simple wheel sensor problem or module problem be that hard to diagnose. these are well put together vehicles. the zf5hp-24 german built transmissions have a weakness in them and it must be fixed. my best regards. nine7

I agree, there is a chance that the transmission could cause the ABS fault (but so could many, many other things). It seems highly unlikely though that a mechanical failure in the transmission would cause a CAN bus fault.
