Help with JTIS
Hello to all!
I hope everyone is doing well and your cats are all purring along happily!
I've owned a Mercedes 300E for over 15 years and the one thing that has kept it going and has allowed me to learn about the vehicle was the electronic factory service manual downloaded from a forum such as ours. It has saved me thousands in repairs that I was able to do myself such as head gasket replacement, motor mounts, and alot of other repairs.
I really need help downloading the JTIS for Vista. I've poured over the threads to no avail. Does anyone have a SIMPLE way to download it for an "old school" guy such as me? Does anyone have it and want to sell me a copy on a disk?

Do what I did back in May 2009 and buy a JTIS CD-ROM off eBay. I think I spent $6 for it. No worries with trying to download over an internet connection, incompatible operating systems, etc. Once you receive the CD-ROM in the mail, just load it up on your PC and you're good to go....
Be aware that JTIS is poorly organized and can be cumbersome to use. Once you spend a couple of hours playing with it, you'll figure it out and it will become a much more useful tool for you. I would rather have an old-fashioned printed set of service manuals, but that is not an option for us so JTIS is essentially the next-best thing....
