NM is not worth much, it's selling for about right for a nice 97 with 60K on it. After all it is 17 years old.

I asked a close friend at the dealership and he did some digging and basically said the Neiman Marcus edition wouldn't really add much to the value. But your condition and mileage would most definitely put it at the top value range for your year and model. Were it a Victory, 100, or silverstone edition, then it would add thousands to the value. Those were actual Jaguar special editions, the NM edition was really more of a special order through jaguar USA. Custom color, a few other details but not really a Jaguar limited edition. He said realistically 13-15,000.00 is about what it would bring. He pointed out that it wasn't really priced any higher through NM as if it were ordered through Jaguar dealer. They just had a small quantity available while dealers were sold out and waiting for more.

Default Where are the records of resales?

Opinions of knowledgeable Jaguar sales people and enthusiasts are very possibly spreading pricing guidance favoring buyers rather than sellers. If there have, in fact, been no sales in the past 7 years as Edmunds.com advises of the 50 cars produced shouldn't prices be rising in the real marketplace?

@Classic29 - I ran your car fotos past some friends in my age / price brackets. They all LOVE the way it looks. Its' a gorgeous car. Its also physically old, and even as a golf-course-queen, is going to need replacement work of time-worn parts to stay safe and secure.

The only folks in my group that thought the NM nameplate commanded a premium, were the NM shopping fiends ( and my mom is one of them ! ). The rest really could care less. Maybe adverts in high-end NM enclaves are the ticket to a really successful and profitable sale?

Based upon the lackluster sales activity on Ebay of the last NM version - essentially listing at a high-but-normal price, is indicative of knowledgeable car lovers' valuation of the metal, instead of a brand lovers' valuation of a name?

Again, gorgeous car, it would look beautiful in anyone's carriageway!
