I find no reviews anywhere for this dealership. Nothing at the Better Business Bureau. Kinda odd...

3 people working, warehouse, 30 or so higher end cars. Not a typical car lot.

I'm still looking... I'm communicating with a member here about his XK but I'm opened for another XJ as well...

Default My thoughts

Hi,

Nice pictures of the car, however for the price (I'm in the UK) I would probably be looking at the XKR rather than the XK8.

I see your tempted with an XJ (or another XJ), I owned a couple of them for a few years and once I was in a position were I no longer needed the 4 seats etc... was when I switched, actually I'm tall (6' 2") and the coupe didn't give me enough head room bit the convertible did which is the one I opted for.

In my opinion there is no comparison between the XJ and XK , one is cruising and comfort for a family etc... and the other sheer fun...

Go for an XKR...

I'm single but I will be transporting my 6 & 9 year old lil daughters. they're short lil ones so they should have plenty of leg room in a xk.. I'm short ( but I carry a big stick!) so head room shouldn't be an issue..

Off topic - but in my experience BBB ratings have zero value. I have found them to be a legal mafia that extorts money from business owners and misleads the public. I look at the overall tone of online reviews instead.

No reviews could mean lots of happy customers - or that they hired a service to bury bad reviews (and I'm not sure any of those companies can do what they claim).

I agree that the BBB is basically a sham. Your best bet is to contact the Consumer Protection division of your state's Attorney General's office and ask for a report of any complaints against the business you are dealing with. You may need to provide the business name, address, and phone number. Here in North Carolina, that is a free service available via a simple toll-free phone call....

Yes! My wife is 5'2" and drives her convertible with her seat far enough forward for her very skinny cousin (adult) to sit behind her.

I'm 5'8" & youngest is first lil grade girl that'll be sitting behind me.. it may work out.

there's not one XK8 on these lots in Jackson MS to even put a booster seat in test drive in. there's a newer XK but the seats are not the same.

Kam has not done himself or his dealership any favors by treating you poorly enough that the tale was told here. Not a very smart businessman, for sure.

How's this for irony... I get a call to buy a XK8 coupe and it's for the same car @ private collection motors that was sold weeks ago. Their fell thru!!! LOL it's back on their site.

I guess the cash wasn't king after all.... Now they're calling.

Maybe the new owner returned it for some reason, or found something wrong and backed out. Proceed with caution.

Exactly... just posting the irony of them back tracking.

They lowered the price to $12500... really bargaining for the sale now. I told him nope!
