Default High Pressure Power Steering Hose disconnect?

Has anyone had the pleasure of removing and replacing the power steering pump in regards to uncoupling the high pressure hoses from the unit? Do I need a special tool or is this something I can do with common shop tools?

doable with normal tools, just a bit fiddly getting the hose coupler back on as you are working blind and upside down. It was the first job I did on the car as the pump exploded about 5 minutes after I handed over the cash and started a 200 mile trip home. No fun with no power steering I can tell you

The hose changed part number and design somewhere around 2000MY.
You will have to reroute the hose if it is a different shape. The first one I did after the design change I argued with the parts dept that it was different. I called Jaguar parts and Jaguar Tech Helpline and was told it was a superseded part and to just make it work!!!!!!!!
