Homemade wind deflector

Homemade wind deflector
I've mentioned this earlier but am just now getting around to posting some of my little projects. I made this last Sept./Oct. and it works great, especially with the rear windows up. Kind of makes me feel as though I'm driving the Popemobile. ;-)

when you get to the one with the two snaps on the boot cover please tell me what they are supposed to attach to, I don't seem to have their corresponding snaps available.
I made the deflector with a sheet of 1/4" Lexan, used a HF multi-tool to rough it out and finished with belt and palm sanders. The mounts are just two pieces of window channel screwed to the rear quarter caps. Not the prettiest but I was in a hurry. Will figure out something clever and nicer appearing as time permits. The same channel bits are used at the bottom in order to not scuff the seat, was thinking about some split clear tubing but was concerned about a possible reaction with the leather's finish?
With the rear windows up, driving in the mid to low 60's (F) is pleasant, would probably be moreso if I wasn't 6'4" and my half-hairless bean not sticking up in the breeze. I notched the sides above the quarter caps in just enough that the top can be raised and lowered with the deflector in place. I didn't want to monkey with hinges/folding/etc. It fits perfectly inside with the top up and doesn't quite touch the headliner. At my cost the lexan was around $68 USD, the window channel I had some scrap pieces = $0. Probably available at an auto glass installer, for the same price if you ask nicely. If anyone wants me to measure it out I'll be happy to do so, just give me a few days.
It would look cool with a laser embedded Leaper, illuminated from the bottom, don't ya think?

Been thinking about fabricating such a screen. These 50 degree mornings ALMOST make me put up the top for my commute. Stopping that breeze from the back would certainly help.
The cover with my 2000 XKR doesn't have those snaps. That flap just fits between the seat back and the folded top.
