Default How far to turn the key?

I too have valet mode, neither remote is working since my battery went flat.

How far does the boot key turn? I have sprayed oil in and twiddled the key it turn about 30deg clockwise and no movement anti clock wise?

Should. Flat car battery cause the fobs to become unsync'd?

Thanks

Can the valet push button on the dash just be 'popped' out to get to the wires connecting it? If not, how can one with big hands get access to the switch to disable it?

Default how to take off Valet Mode

just take the key out of the housing and use it to open the trunk. when you turn the key and the trunk pops open press unlock on the remote key same time to disable alarm then press the trunk open button on the key and you should hear a click after that take out the key from the trunk/boot and close it and lock the car remotely then unlock it and press the trunk/boot button on the remote key and that should removed and take off valet mode.
