Buckets, car wash soap, micro fibre towels, and put a screen in the bottom of the bucket so all of the little nasties can fall to the bottom out of your cleaning water. Westley's Bleach White for the tires. . Everything else is just a copy.

Drying with a chamios or Sham Wow.

Last but not least http://www.wolfsteins.com/

Haartz Raggtopp cleaner and protectant.

Default 5 star shine

I just used something called 5 star shine on my car which is supposed to give you that just waxed look for years...

So far, very pleased with the product. It is kind of expnsive ($90 for a complete detail kit) but the results are excellent. Don't have to wax repeatedly so that is worth the price of admission for me.

Check it out - and no I don't get a commission.

N0.7 car wash soap, one bucket for soap, one to rinse mitt. Dry with old towel. 303 protectant on the plastic and rubber, 303 cleaner and fabric protector on the top once/year. Wax varies, but Collinite fleet wax is easy to use and lasts a long time.

Haartz Raggtopp cleaner and protectant - great product. Its an all day project to put on though, wash top with the cleaner and a soft brush. Let dry without dirt, birds and tree sap making a mess (no garage here). I put an old bed sheet over the top to keep it clean but let it dry. Come back later with the spray on protectant. You need to cover the glass and painted surfaces as best you can when spraying and wipe off any excess from paint, glass & rubber. Result is a clean top that beads water and doesn't allow dirt and sap to penetrate.

Gus, OMG!!! You must not have any wax on your paint now. Use only car wash detergent on your car.

I use Raggtop treatment on the soft top and Nu-Finish on the painted surfaces.

Yes you are correct wax is hard to keep on the car so I just do it (wax) again. But on the flip side of this is that it is clean from road dirt, grease and grime. Oh! And it looks great (as a daily driver)!
