I did a circuit test and the red/black is the hot.
The Bosch 010 is working great. I've had TWO ZZP pumps fail within 2 years, so beware. I'll never go that route again and will stick with German made.
Think Mercedes and Panzer...

Yea it turns out the pump I got died. I would stay away from any of the ZZP and AVT pumps. I had an AVT pump, it did work briefly but it just died for no apparent reason. I will get the Bosch 010 pump next, it might not have as god specs as the others but at least they should be a hell of a lot more reliable then some no name brands. You get a 5 year warrenty on the Bosch part as well.

I got the 010 pump, I didn't realise that the connector isn't the same. I've looked at getting a connector but none of them have pins and they cost a rather a lot and will take a month to get to me so I will probably leave it up to the garage, maybe just solder the wires on. Maybe I'm just being silly but it would make sense to sell a connector with a pump esspecially when it's a unique plug, would make things easier. But then so would selling a plug with the pins actually in it, why would you want a plug without the contacts inside, that's just stupid in my opinion. I read that a Bosch style injector plug shoudl fit, I wander if I can get one of them quicker.

Reading some posts on the XFR section on this website someone said the Merc connector for the Mosch 010 pump can be found on Ebay for cheap, part number is 1-967644-1, the little plastic part next to plug 1 needs to be trimmed though. I got the plug connector in the post today and removed the plastic tab next to the number 1 socket and it fits in the pump socket no problem. So this part will work, £4.99 well spent.
