Say Diddion, .... How far could you drive on a full load of Propane and how much did it cost per mile? Could you find propane easily enough to just launch out on a cross country drive? Was it gaseous or LNG? Did the tank occupy much more space than the stock tank? Was the car still fast enough? Very Interesting.

Hi Scardini 1.

I'll answer your question in the following thread, which you may find interesting: It starts in 2011, which was when I had my car converted, and there have been many updates recently (from me and others)

Regardless of the miles, these cars are getting pretty old in years. I've found that NOT driving older cars exacerbates some problems, especially electrical and hydraulic. Once you get the problems sorted make sure you drive the car regularly. You don't have to beat it to death, but do drive the car.

With that many miles on your car would you care to list the major upgrades or repairs you have had DIY that have been done.

Default miles on clock

2001 XKR Convert has 45k (purchased May 2017)
2006 XKR Coupe has 29k (purchased September 2017)

So far, both have been running perfectly, knock on dash.

27,000 miles. Never drove it to work as I didn't want to leave it out in the CA sun and ruin my convertible top.

Nice scores, Bill! Nuts - I might have seen you at Waynesboro this weekend, but I've got to drive Kitty to Florida and back for a family thing.
