Hvac fan access
There's something in there with the HVAC fan (like an ink pen maybe) making lots of unpleasant racket...
Is there some way to gain access to the space where the fan lives and remove the culprit?
Also - Where in the world is the fan?
I have lots of questions about this automobile and am spending a lot of time searching here and working on the car.

Goldwing,
Rattling HVAC eh! Good news is that the removal of the vents to check for debris inside is relatively simple. Check out the To The Garage Youtube video - link below. Do this first to see what you find. Bad news is that if it's actually the HVAC box, that's an absolute bear to reach behind the dash, much less remove it for inspection/repair.

There are two fans in the Jag- one on each side. You first need to find which one is making the noise. Easiest way to do this is by pulling the fuse ( each one is fused individually). Fuses are located on the pasenger side fuse panel, but the specific fuse you need to pull, you will have to research.
Very likely the Insulation in the Fan issue. If the passenger side, you might be able to fix by removing the glove box and reaching in through the recirc door. There are several threads concerning this on the site. Here's one I saved. Driver's side is much harder to reach.
