WARNING: disconnect the battery before working on the restraint system(added by GGG)
After being annoyed for the last decade or so with the twisting of the seatbelts I am getting new ones. I will update the post when I put them in on how it went. FYI taking out the old ones was simple, no instructions needed just keep unscrewing. No surprises on hard-to-find bolts or clips or anything. I hope going back will be simple also.

Reason: Add safety WARNING
I'm curious to know whether you are buying new belts or having the old belt mechanism/belts refurbished. (Perhaps you get a new belt with the refurbish?)
My driver's side belt locked up the other day. I see there is a company popping up on the Google that refurbishes the mechanism at a reasonable price. Think it was 65 bucks.
I'll be watching your update, as you will probably have yours fixed before I get to mine.
So going back in has been a little more eventful than I wanted it. When I was putting in the driver's side it exploded. I have to admit, I did not even know they had a charge. So I will call the seatbelt restore place and see if they can fix it, I think it is around 100 bucks plus shipping up and back. Also on the passenger side, it does not seem to retract with as much force as it used to.
After I figure out the next steps I will post.
Lesson learned, when you work on seatbelts disconnect the battery!!!!

As I started reading your first post, I immediately thought about the pyrotechnic belt tensioners - especially as one was in the first photo! I've added a WARNING to your post.
Attached is the seat belt retrator removal/installation procedure from JTIS.
