Apparently, Ford has changed/updated this little treasure! Let's face it, it's over with!

Default Ivory Interior/ Ebony Exterior 2005 XKR

Julian, I'm attempting to send those photos I promised of "The Texas Coupe." I've tried several times but still haven't been able to post a Photo, so here we go!
Photo #1 Shows Ivory Interior in 2005 XKR with Ebony Exterior
Photo #2 Shows Ivory Interior with Alcantara Headliner
Photo #3 Shows the Ebony 2005 XKR Coupe with 20" BBS Montreal Wheels and Clear Marker & Repeater Light Lens. Also, Day-time Running Lights
Photo #4 Shows the new "Victory-Edition Tail Lights with the new LED Bulbs

For a better view - "Click on the Photo"

What do you think?

In Florida the natives park far so they can be under a tree in the shade. Tourists park close in the sun. And if you are out of luck you are in the sunny no-man's land between the shady distant parking spots and the close spots so you get the worst of both: a long walk in the sun to a baking vehicle.

WAF, Here in Houston, we park anywhere we can find a spot! Mostly concrete Parking Lots with NO Trees! You gotta crack those windows about an inch or man it gets HOT in there!

It's about time you got out and about! Hope you are feeling better!

had the chance to play with an Aston Martin Vantage V12-S last week...

Pretty car, but just not into the front grill (not aggressive enough) and the interior was blah...Leather seats are really amazing though.
For $235,000, you would think the steering wheel would look nicer? And the tires need to be replaced every 10,000 miles due to the softer rubber they use...

Liked this MUCH better

I used to want an Aston after my son takes over the XKR, but now am being heavily seduced by Ferrari...

Fantastic, dsd! That vertical parking technique is a real space saver, and your ceiling driving technique - wow! Super impressive. That's where you have the edge over the Jaguar.

2003 575M Maranello with the rare 3 pedal manual transmission. I've had it for over 10 years. Daily drove it for 4 until we had our second child (its just a 2 seater).

Thats what you pay the big bucks for. Don't even ask about the tires needed to pull that off ;-P

I love Ferrari. I bleed Rossa Corsa. However, ownership is not really for everyone. They are high strung and have really strict maintenance schedules and cost a fortune to service. Things are better since they moved to timing chains in the 599 but the 5 year service is still terriblly expensive.

Honestly, this is why you see a lot of late models for sale. People bought them, realized they were not indestructible appliances like Lexus, got ticked off, and dumped the car. However, a well maintained and purring Ferrari is rewarding like few other cars.

Son? I thought you were younger than I am?

No judgement, I just turned 30 and feel now is when I'll have to start lying about my age lol.

The DB9 is cool and all but I'm waiting until things settle down at work before I make another purchase . I want an early DB9 Volante, preferably with the graziano manual but will settle for the automatic. Preferred color being gun metal gray, not black, with either a black or saddle interior. Preferably a black top.
