Default I hate this moment

Every year around this time I start having to think about putting my best car away for the winter. I suppose I am lucky to have other, less pampered vehicles available for use during the bad weather, but I did feel sad yesterday evening as I gave the Jag one last wash and wax before putting her cover on

You will be missing driving your Jag but you will keep your ride like new condition just because you don't drive it in winter conditions

Frog I hold off till the last minute right before the snow falls. Is the weather getting bad over there? Nice cover.

I know the feeling. I'll probably put mine in storage by the end of this month and likely won't have it out again until around April, 5-6 months. Although the majority of the snow comes only in January & February, the roads here are salted during bad weather, which I don't want my car exposed to.

I probably will get her out again from time to time, but only when it's dry. Average daytime temperature is down to about 15°C now.

Crickey, it's warmer up here on the North coast. Still in shorts and sandals.

Don't forget to blow up your tyres, if you are leaving it on the ground.

Well, I can't feel sorry for you. It is your own mistake.

You should have stayed in the better part of France, there where you registered your car.

LOL! Just giving you a hard time. I knew that was your wife. You mentioned it in another post when you showed us your cool Jaguar graphics on the wall.

Like the poster above said: "livin' the dream"

But you are missing driving when the air is denser.

You are very fortunate to be able to tuck it away for the winter. I cringe every time I take mine out in bad weather. I put 200 lbs. of salt in the trunk on a tarp and it does very well, i know, cringe...

I don't put my car away for the winter...it my daily driver. I have a Jeep to drive in the snow and really bad weather. The rest of the time I enjoy the Jag. I've had 2 Maseratis and 2 Ferraris and they've all been daily drivers. I won't own a car that I can't drive every day.

I'm sure I've seen it and commented before Frog, but nice car in a nice garage .......Immaculate and you could probab;ly eat your dinner off the floor I'm guessing?

Nice to know she's safely tucked away for the winter but she'll be missed no doubt........+1 on the extra air in the tyres which I'm sure you've probably done anyway.

Thanks for sharing

I noticed you guys can help but poke at each other! As seen in the “XK horrible bosses” thread how you can’t help but comment on the wheels. I know you both are just messing around, but I wanted to add that it is nice to see such camaraderie!
Until next spring when the cover comes off!
