I miss my Jag already! In the body shop.
While in Phoenix for Easter, my father in law accidently scrubbed the fron bumper and fender........
The little dent and nudge is about 3900.00 in damage........
Park Place gave me a new Lincoln MKZ with 25 miles on it.............its not the same............I want Kate back.

Sorry about the accident. But you've learned a very valuable lesson. I would not allow my father-in-law to ride my bicycle much less drive any of our vehicles. This is a man who backed a borrowed RV into the corner of our previous house about 20 years ago, tearing up that section of gutters as well as denting the borrowed RV, then attempted to blame his wife for not guiding him down the driveway. He left a $100 bill on our kitchen table (which didn't begin to cover the gutter damage) then packed up and split to drive back to Florida before I got home to see the damage and speak with him. What a moron....

Painting the bumper and the bonnet at the same time is the very best way to get the color/shade to match exactly, you'll be glad they volunteered that service (in addition to the chip repair bonus!) Of course, the first rock chip you get now will be a bit harder to deal with. I know, my new paint job lasted only 1 week.

Speaking of missing your Jag, I miss mine. I got to see her a couple of days after I sold her because I still had the second set of keys, the cargo net, and the tonneau cover bag to give to the new owner. Yesterday I found a little bottle of factory touch up paint. I'm thinking about calling up the new owner to give him the paint. That would let me see her again. If I keep finding stuff to give him, who knows how long I can drag this out. He only lives 20 minutes away.
Maybe I should just call him up and invite him over when I cook steaks on the grill. We could become friends and I could maybe borrow the Jag every once in a while.
