I think the limited editions had this as an option.

Hope it is as simple as a spilled container of oil. And...I'm jealous of the upcoming Tuscany trip. Do take pictures, we'll all want to see them. Add them to this link: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...r-today-77347/

I now think it was your previously-unmentioned half-empty bottle of oil. Even when you think you have the cap screwed on tightly, it doesn't take much road vibration to loosen it up and turn that bottle over....

I brought the same bottle along on my holiday in Italy, refilled it to almost-full from my 5L container, but this time plastic wrapped it and put it inside of a ziplock bag. Considering the looks of this arrangement right now, AFTER the holiday, I think I can safely say that I have identified the leak.

Top fluid can be squeezed out of either cylinder between the piston and cylinder walls If the micro switches for the top latch fail, or for any reason the top mechanism freezes while the pump continues to pressurize the system. I had this happen a couple of times.

Top frooze in place while being raised, but the motor and pump kept running. It was an intermittent event so I didn't worry to much. However, a few days later I saw spots on the garage floor. Like you, after pulling the rear seats and speaker housings, I saw the fluid collected in the lower cavities. After cleaning this up, there was no more leaking... until one day the mechanism again froze with the motor and pump operating at full pressure. Hope this helps.
