Based on the pictures my 2000XKR has the AJ26 2 pin, but it's suppose to be an AJ27 engine?

It’s kinda hard to tell if the one on the right in the picture is an AJ26 2 connector or AJ27 4 connector coil, as you can’t see the pins. Only way to check is to take of the ignition cover and count the wires going in the coils, it would be interesting to find a 2000MY (so vin Axxxxx) with a AJ26 engine.

My coils are 4-wire on my 2000 xkr engine.

my 99 xk8 conv has 4 pin coils.

The AJ26 uses the 2 pin the AJ27 uses the 4 pin.

I'm in the UK,have a 2000 4.0L, and it has 4 pin coils

my code reader says I have a misfire on cylinder 3 replaced all plugs on passenger side and swapped the coils on 2 and 3 now code reads cylinder 2 so I figure bad coil. found one online from Walmart for 17 dollars and s/b here next fri will post after it arrives and have it installed as to the results.

If your on a budget there are many available through amazon or ebay. I replaced one bad coil with an aftermarket for about 35 bucks

installed the coil from walmarts site yesterday looks the same as the jaguar coil and seems to be running fine 17 dollars sure beats 95.
