The warning lights in the tachometer of the 2006 XKR do not work - check engine, ABS, SRS. also brake lights do not work (the brake switch is OK). ( I had the cluster out and it is a replacment with a date sticker 5/11/2004. Any recommendation?
I had my instrument cluster out earlier this year and had issues when I reinstalled it. The connectors can be tricky and fool you into thinking they are fully seated. Hopefully something simple.
Unfortunately not. I took an instrument cluster apart, measured all NPN transistors - everythíng seems to work. Warning LEDs in the tachometer - ABS, ENG, don't light up.
I was able to fix the instrument cluster - resoldering of both terminals helped. My problem with brake lights and gear shift lock are persistent. Also my OBD terminal does not communicate with my scanner.
Great to hear your soldering fix on the IC has solved all but 2 issues (3 if including the OBDII comms also).
However, I advise we attack only one issue at a time.

This is significant, because the two systems share very few components . . . the fuse that feeds this circuit (I assume you did check this) and the foot brake switch. You say "the brake switch is OK", but how did you test it if neither the lights nor gear select interlock are working?
These details are critical to resolving any case where multiple issues point to one common component.
Hello,
all fuses are OK. I tested the brake switch with Ohm meter. The problem is somewhere on the route from the brake switch to the relay, but what makes it difficult to pinpoint is that the OG wire does not go directly to the relay but through numerous splitting points and connectors. What makes it even more confusing is that when the brake is depressed the switch disconnects pins 1 from 4 so there is no feed to the OG wire - +/-. When I experience those other problems "electrical failure/suspension failure" I posted it to the different forum, because here I did not have any reaction for a long time.

IGN OFF - 4 has 12 V and 1 has 12V a pedal depressed only 4 still has 12 V
IGN ON - 3 has 12 V and 2 has 12V a pedal depressed only 2 and 3 have 12V
