intake manifold grommet

I am going to replace all my hoses.

I see a grommet NCA3973AA @4 for the intake manifold. Anyone know what they are for?

The inner locating pegs on the two black plastic 'Jaguar V8' covers push into them.

I don't have a photo of the underside of these covers.
