Default iOS and OBDII

Am I likely to have luck in using this:
Robot Check Robot Check
with the Jag and an iPad app? Is there a reason it couldn't work?

I have the same Elm use it with obd2 tooltech. Works ok, tells you codes, gives you revs speed etc, coolant temp and has a neat HUD feature that I haven't tested yet! It's a free app and works with both wifi and Bluetooth.

Alright, I guess I'm going to get it. I won't have to rely on pep boys for those codes anymore.
