The wired-in mic is on the dash right in front of me, the LCD screen on its wired-in screen mounting pin is positioned on the dash to the right of the steering wheel , and the "buttons" nodule was mounted on the centre console. It has the option of attaching via a custom steering wheel attachment clamp directly on the steering wheel for finger-tip controls if you so wish ...(not for me)
The center console glovebox has the iPod connector/MP3 payer jack etc, bundled cable attachments for the iPod.
It has full Blutooth iPod audio input/transfer capabilities as well as the Blutooth hands-free iPhone normal setup, but the plug-in wired cable iPod input (cable wired-in exiting the glovebox/centre console) for audio input to your system has a much better signal to noise ratio and is a better sound quality IMO. I use the Blu-tooth for my hands-free iPhone that kicks in and overrides all audio when a call or text comes in.
Full voice command dialing capabilities ...blah blah...LCD screen display blah blah ....
and all through your existing audio system and speakers.
highly recommended.
