The Jaguar recommended service interval is 10k miles or at intervals not exceeding 6 months if the vehicle is low miles or operated in severe conditions.
The itemised Service Schedules are in the 'Passport to Service' Handbook for the US and 'Maintenance Schedules' Handbook for the UK. Instructions for carrying out many of the checks involved are in the Vehicle Care Handbook.

Although not included in the schedules, transmission fluid changes at 50-60k intervals are thought by many to increase the life of 'sealed for life' transmissions. The procedure varies according to model.

The independent that I take my '03 R to says that the 60k is the "expensive" one. The biggest differences being the fuel filter and the transmission service.
Fuel filter isn't so bad as a DIY but the trans service with pan replacement was one that I wasn't wanting to take on, and I'm glad that I didn't. Turned out that all of the bolts for the pan were rusted in place and had to be knocked out, something that would have been immensely difficult if the car were not on a lift.
Whatever engineer thought it a good idea to use bolts with such a small torx head AND make them out of regular steel should be drug out into the street and shot. Thankfully there is a TSB to update the bolts to the larger ones used on later cars.

I just had the 60k mile service omy 1997 XK8. I used a local Flagstaff shop that we have used for over 15 years. They charged $400. But, that included changing the brake fluid and the serpentine belt. The fluid was discolored. Then belt was severely cracked.
In the Phoenix Area, I bet it would have been at least double, if not 12-1500, at a dealer.
