Hi,
I have been trying to find a tonneau cover (boot cover) for my car, but haven't been successful so far.
The feedback I got was not positive and apparently the trim color is extremely rare.
If anyone perhaps have an idea where I could source a cover, please let me know?
The trim code of my car is 'LHJ'.
See attached some photos of my car for ease of reference.
Regards,
Chris
Too bad, your Jag is a beautiful color. Be a shame to have to go with some sort of complementary color and I'd imagine that redyeing would be hard trying to match your color. Have you checked Ebay or some of the other Jag online forums?
Back in February 2012 there was an aftermarket tonneau cover available from a company with an e-mail address of clwcruiseco@yahoo.com and a phone number of (619) 232-4040. The cost at that time was $239 plus shipping. You may want to try that phone number to see if they still exist....
I bought my cover on eBay and they advertise all colors... I have no complaints on my cover from them, it is perfect! It is in the US but maybe they ship to your locale.
Just to give you an update. @sklimii , I checked with topsonline and they do not have the material in 'DOVE' anymore. They only supply 'Saville Grey' but it's too dark for my trim. @blindside , I checked with the supplier on ebay, but unfortunately they do not have my trim color in stock. @Ledmi , I will will check out your link and revert.
Thanks for the help so far.
I'll keep looking.
Cheers.
My husband finally found a car to replace the last "fun/toy" car he had. It is a 2005 Jaguar XK8. Color black. It did not have the tonneau cover with it when we bought it. I saw on another social media site several people talking about someone they had ordered a bag to contain theirs made by an individual that was top quality. They said he also could do the actual covers. Now I cannot find that thread. Can anyone help?
