I'm very curious to know if there were two seat sizes on the XK8 models that have the classic seats, the ones before the headrest version.


I've just ordered some seat covers from Topsonline and they're saying the base has two sizes and asking me to measure my seat base which I'll do tomorrow as car is in bodyshop.


I just thought I'd post this as it's something I've never heard of. I would have thought the classic style seats before the headrest version were all the same.

Send them some photos of your seats as reference too just so there's no confusion.

 

Yes, there were two designs. But I thought they requested the length of the insert, which is the pleated part. On my 97 the insert is 14".

 

Many thanks for the info. Yes it is the length of the insert they require. I'll be measuring mine tomorrow but I'm still not aware that there were two sizes.
