Default JLR IDS Question

Got the laptop, the software, the VCM. Is there a work-around for not having a VMM when using guided path? Never needed one at FLM, but also had other resources available. Can probably figure everything out, it's just easier when you don't have to reverse engineer in order to figure out the logic.

Would be interested too to know. That was(/is) the good thing of the WDS as that has one build in.

beav, motorcarman, along with avos, also works (and has worked) with the IDS and WDS, fights the software and hardware issues at his shop; I'd send him a PM and see if he has any input, he only logs on in spurts.

Yeah, but you could take a nap waiting for it to do anything. It's the original 600 lb. gorilla on Ambien.

Definiately agree with the stock unit, but I wouldn't be me not to tune the unit .

With some 160 MB of internal memory and a SDD disk, the system was actually quick enough.
