Just got my first CEL and the code is... P0430!
Yep, Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold, Bank 2. A quick search looks like it's either a defective downstream O2 sensor or the cat itself, both of which will lend further credence to tell the wifey of my forthcoming exhaust plans soon...
P0430 is the only code registered. Anyone else experience just this? Did swapping the O2 sensors around to see if the code travelled with the sensor isolate, or at 130k mi. am I really just looking for new cats?
Sure glad the state inspection was just last month- I've got a year to sort this one out and offset some hybrids!

Before you start to splash the cash .......
You know what the code is and what it means. Clear it and see if it comes back again. Quite often a code is set because a sensor sends an out-of-range signal and not because there is a faulty component.
I always do this double check with codes before replacing components.
