I carry a lint free towel in the glovebox. Mainly for ladies hand lotion fingerprints. Nothing like says Jaguar like Brittish Racing Green without prints.

I personally prefer a gorgeous woman to a hot chick, Jag or no Jag.

Funny coincidence given the original thrust of this thread - I was sitting in my car eating lunch today and a middle-aged lady walked up and said she loved my car. Said she's had a model of a red XKE for 20 years and hopes to be able to have one some day. She also said she had seen my car in the parking lot several times and apologized if she had left any drool on it. Kid you not.

Marco - The thought of fingerprints on British Racing Green is truly repulsive.

Yours is especially nice..... your XK8 I mean.

On occasions I'd have to drive both the Explorer and the XK8 places and my wife (girlfriend at the time) always drove my XK8 with the roof down. I certainly liked how sexy she looked in the car (and out of course!!!). I'm still trying to teach her about finger prints after all these years!!!!

I keep a spray bottle of Meguiars Quick Detailer and a soft cloth in my trunk to quickly take care of fingerprints and so forth.

Some people would call us excentric! Others just plain nutz.

Fall must be here already - came out of the store yesterday and discovered tiny drops of tree sap over every inch of my clean, newly waxed car. D'OH

And another thing!!! I had to repair my passenger side visor. Ever keep track of how often the ladies have to reapply lipstick???? No wonder the springs go in those little vanity mirrors. The only plus side are those short tight skirts. Jaguar needs to fix the touchy steering. Look down a second and you're headed towards a sign or telephone pole!!!!!!!!!!!! I think this is a major design flaw. I hope they got it corrected in the new XK's.

And I'll tell you that the "flaw" gets worse as you get older. I have almost run into the car ahead of me on the freeway several times as I"change lanes" using the foot pedal and the supercharger! DaleD
