What year is your car and how many miles?

If it's in the plastic tank and it's a high mileage or older XK you are ultimately looking at a replacement radiator If this is an emergency (you're stranded somewhere) I like Bars Leaks. But don't use any if you can help it because it gets into a lot of intricate places in these cars with heater hose octopuses, check valves, HVAC/engine coolant circulation pumps. It will eventually turn into a bigger headache.

I put an aftermarket Nissen brand in my '97 and it works much better than the old plugged up one.

The tanks on the end of the radiator are plastic; the core is metal. Didn't catch the mileage, but, take a look at this post I made a month ago-
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ce-tech-76230/ (probably should make the radiator change its own thread).
It sort of touches on your current problem. It was what motivated me to change the radiator on mine. The plastic was just brittle. Do you know if it's the core or the tank that is leaking? Usually you can't get any long term fix for leaking plastic tanks.

My fix for this is a new radiator. Not worth the risk of a fix that fails at a bad time. These plastic/aluminum radiators are BIC radiators...disposable.
