Angry Leaks

After changing out my hood struts today I found some fluid on the garage floor. I've stored my car in garages for long periods of time, and I park in the same space every day for 8 hours. Nothing besides the water from the AC. I pulled the car out into my driveway and put it on ramps, I see no leaks. Where else should I look?

I drove as fast as I could to the last mechanic open, the underside of the transmission was covered in oil and red fluid. The mechanic suspects the red fluid is dehydrated DexCool, since I spilled about half a gallon earlier.

If it is dexcool, the easiest way to find the leak is to do a pressure test of the cooling system. Your mechanic can do this, or you can borrow a test kit from most auto supply shops..

I spilled the Dex Cool myself, I'm more worried about the oil.

The rear main seal or the oil gallery plug could be at fault. Remove the rubber plug at the front of the bell housing and see if oil is pooling there.

My neighborhood mechanic said it was my rear main seal ($1000) and basically the whole coolant system ($2500). I got it towed to a Jaguar specialist, I’ll see how it goes.
