Has anyone tried these? Wondering if they do fit in our cars.

Doesn't look like they are dimable. Have leds in my smiths gauged tvr and now I can almost read them at night. I'm assuming you want more for color?

No, I want them for realistically priced replacements. I'd solder in bulbs if the bases weren't old and cracking.

If you don't care about the dimming feature they should be fine. Just keep in mind that they require the polarity to be correct where a normal incand. bulb will light either way.

I have a 1985 TVR Tasmin and have been trying to get my Smith's gauges illumination better. I can barely see them at night. I just had my speedometer removed for maintenance and see the bulbs are incandescent 12V 3 W E10 screw in bulbs. I have been looking for a suitable brighter LED replacement. I have come across a few bulbs that may work from eBay and another company on the web. Did you find one that works well with the Smith's gauges? Can these be replaced without removing the gauges? Thanks

U recently got the main instrument cluster bulbs from the local Jag dealer. They are listed as C2S15074020 and apparently also work for the side markers and tail lights? I paid $1.20 bulb at the dealer. Someone said the equivalent US bulb is 194A which looks the same in pictures. I ordered 10 from Amazon at just under $6/10. Here is some more info.BULB - Terrys Jaguar Parts - C2S15074020

The side marker bulb part number is C2S15074020 - online Jaguar Dealership Parts shows it msrp price of $1.20. SNG USA online price is $0.54 (old part# DBC11381) plus shipping (probably US mail on small parts).

The neo wedge are used in things like the heater control LCD screen, they do fit however they are as bright as laser beams and don't look right, it gives a couple of light spots either side of the numbers..... Not good
